In this game, the Premier League leaders, Chelsea, are upset by Bradford City from League One (which is the two divisions lower than the Premier League)! Morais sent a corner kick to Davis who had a diving header – but it was blocked by Chelsea’s goalie. Soon thereafter, Chelsea took a corner kick and Cahill directed it with his back heel into the goal.
After the kickoff, Bradford’s Morais dribbled it straight into Ramires who stole it. Ramires made a counterattack, taking the ball down the field and passing the ball to Sala on the left side. Sala returned the ball with one touch back to Ramires who shot the ball off the post and into the goal.
Morais took a free kick across the face of the goal and Davis sent a header backwards to teammate Nought. Nought passed to Stead who shot the ball into the upper right-hand corner of the goal. This put Bradford City on the score board, but they were still behind 2-1.
The second half began with the momentum on Bradford City’s side. Bradford City threw the ball in to Maridiv. He took a shot, but it was punched out by Chelsea’s keeper. Morais got the rebound and tapped in a tying goal for Bradford City.
Morais took the ball down the field and crossed it into Stead, who passed it back to Halliday waiting outside of the penalty box who shot and scored.
Bradford City’s Yeates got the ball and passed to Stead, who made a back-heel pass back to Yeates who ripped a shot from outside the box into the upper corner of Chelsea’s goal, putting them safely ahead in the final minutes of the game. The final score was 4-2 and Bradford City was delighted with the upset victory.
