Imagination is the doorway to wonder and inspiration. It is the place where creative ideas are born, and from which new stories are given life; it is the way we see the world for the grand reality that it is. It is also the human faculty which helps us discover our gifts, and see the grace of God at work in creation.

In the Tutorial the Riverside apprentices experience the full pedagogy of Imaginative Learning. They enter into a culture of deep learning and brotherhood.

Through an active and engaging series of creative projects the apprentices grow in imagination, work as a team, and journey into great stories where they find their creative voice. The Tutors foster in the boys a love for imaginative learning.

The apprentices act out dramas on stage, radio, film, and even in the outdoors; they sketch the natural world around them, they build imaginary worlds; write new stories; recite poetry at great feasts; put to memory and sing ballads; and most importantly they see the connection between meaningful creative work and culture.

Tutorial is a place where boys become a brotherhood of creative and courageous men of culture, who see this life as an adventurous pilgrimage to heaven.
