Cluny, known as the Scourge, is a large, strong sea rat in the world of Redwall, a book series by Brain Jacques. He is the leader of a horde of rats who spend their time plundering and burning villages at his commands.
Cluny has one eye which he lost while fighting a pike. When he goes to war he wears an iron spike on the end of his whip-like tail. The spike contains a poison which can kill a creature in minutes.
In the story, Cluny attacks Redwall Abbey several times. In the first attack he tries to surprise the Redwallers by climbing a tall tree, and crossing over on a small plank to the ramparts. A badger named Constance sees him just in time and throws the plank off the battlements with Cluny on it. He landed on the ground with a crack, and then his gang carried him away on a litter.
