Summer is for Adventure!

Join Riverside for one day or all five days of exciting activities.
Read each event description carefully for details.

If you sign one boy up for all five activities there is a $20 discount.

You must sign up for all five at one time using the discount option on the form.
Note the age restrictions for some of the activities.

Girls may sign up for the Forge on June 24 and YakShack on June 25.
Please note age restrictions.

Boys' day at YakShack is June 27.

Come to the Range! Shooting and Archery

Location: Aurora Sportsmans Club, 7749 Rueff Rd., Waterman, IL

Who: Boys Ages 8-14

Cost: $30 per person

Note: There is a maximum number of 30 for this activity.

Additional Information: The boys will spend the morning on the archery range and the afternoon rifle shooting.
Bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Each participant is responsible for their own transportation.
Waivers must be completed in order to participate.

June 24, 2025

The Forge, Lemont, IL

Be an Explorer at the Forge for the day.

We will split into groups and counselors will lead the kids
through activities such as archery battle tag, laser tag,
the kids' adventure zone and jump zone,
kayaking, scavenger hunts, and orienteering.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: The Forge Adventure Park & Ziplines
227 Heritage Quarries Dr, Lemont, IL 60439

Who: Boys and Girls, Ages 8-14
(Boys and Girls will be in separate groups that also are divided by age.)

Cost: $45.00 Per Person

Other details: Bring a packed lunch and water bottles. Waivers must be filled out three days prior to the event.

June 25, 2025

GIRLS: The Yak Shack, Yorkville

White water tubing in the morning, and kayak/canoe trip to Silver Springs after lunch.

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: The Yak Shack

Who: GIRLS, Ages 10 - 14

Cost: $40.00 Per Person

Other details: Bring a packed lunch and water bottles. Waivers must be filled out.

When: June 25, 2025, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Riverside Olympics

Who: Boys, Ages 8-14

Location: Wheaton College (Tentative)

Cost: $25 per person

Additional Info: This will be a day filled with friendly competitions
based on both team and individual sports.
Like last year former NFL Player Peter Ittersagen will be on hand to help coach.
Please bring a lunch and water.

June 26, 2025

AirSoft Battle

Location: Black-Ops AirSoft; 8025 128th Ave, Bristol, WI 53104

When: June 26, 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Who: Boys, Ages 10-14

Cost: $30 per person with own equipment
and required protective gear
Rental Fees: An additional $20 per person for rental equipment
and required protective gear

Additional Info: Participants are responsible for their own transportation.
Waivers must be signed and presented or they will not be allowed to play.
Bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water.
