In this Christmas classic, Doris Walker hires a nice old man named Kris Kringle to play Santa Claus at Macy's, and is startled by his claim to be the genuine article. When his sanity is questioned, lawyer Fred Gailey, who also happens to be Doris' neighbor defends Kris in court by arguing that he is telling the truth.
