In September Folk Session start up again at Mayslake Peabody Estate. The video on this post manifests the end goal of the Folk Sessions—helping families develop an authentic musical culture. Many families that are friends of Riverside are already doing this through Irish Sessions, and fireside sing-alongs.
Throughout the year we invite families to host Riverside folk concerts and sing-alongs at their homes–either on a porch that’s good for foot stomping, in the backyard, or in a family room.
