Hunting in the stone age

By November 18, 2015

Whizz—whomph—wphrr—donghkk.

Would you rather go hunting with a 2014 awesome compound bow or a flimsy spear with a bone tip?  In the Stone Age, it would have been a spear and punch in the jaw for calling it flimsy.  The bear-skinned covered people of the Stone Age often used spears and knives made from wood and bone to hunt, or just a big ole’ chunk of rock.  If you didn’t want to use a spear, or if you were 10ys and the knife had a 13+ tag on it, then you either ignore the tag (not such a good idea) or slather branches near birds’ nests with lime and sprinkle bird food around them.  When the birds’ landed, they got stuck and you then could throw a net over them.  Other animals that were hunted were: rabbits, squirrels, mammoths, and basically any other edible thing in sight.  That’s all we have today on the hunting show.  For exclusive content:  see below for a Kutoo chase and Africans’ using some of the same techniques as the wolf-skinned covered people of the Stone Age.    Pip pip cheerio!
