Crafting is a very important part of Minecraft. Crafting is how you build the world and if you can’t build the world, then a huge part of Minecraft is completely lost–you wouldn’t be able to make new things. You would be completely bored and would be stuck with the same old stuff.
Mining is how you gather stuff to craft. You can gather ores like diamonds, iron, gold, emeralds and coal. You can usually find coal up to the 128th layer, diamonds up to layer 12, and iron up to layer 64. Now there are several different mining techniques. One is to mine in a spiral staircase. Now this technique will help you a lot if you are desperate for rare ores.
Fighting is one of my personal favorites. If fighting wasn’t in the game there would be mindless zombies running around with nothing to do and all you could do is mine and craft and that wouldn’t be very fun. There would be mindless zombies in your house doing nothing but being annoying. So I am going to tell you some good techniques for fighting such as the run and jump. Now in the run and jump you run straight toward your target and the jump and hit the target. Note this might not work in some cases such as with creepers which explode when they are within 3 blocks of range. Make sure to jump while you’re attacking. This will give your target a critical hit. Critical hits give your target an extra amount of damage making it a really good strategy. Here is one last strategy: circling your target while hitting them. It gives them not very much chance to hit you. It’s a really good technique that most Minecraft players forget about.
Redstone is a very cool thing in Minecraft. With redstone you can create pistons, levers, and other things of that sort. With the redstone dust that you get from redstone ore you can use the redstone as if it was a wire. For an example of how you can put all these components together, let’s say on block one you put a lever and on block 2 you put a redstone dust then on block 3 you put a piston. If you flick the lever then the piston turns on. If you flick the lever a second time then the piston turns off, get it?
Well since you probably have no idea what I just said let’s go on to multiplayer now. Multiplayer can be a dangerous place as some of you already know so I suggest a couple of different servers that are very fun but safe servers to play on. For example, Mineplex is one of the best minecraft servers out there. Then there is also Hypixel which I think it just is not as fun to be on but it’s still pretty safe. You can usually find minigames on most server. These Minigames are really just short snippet games that don’t take a long time to play such as paintball in Minecraft. It’s a very simple game. You are with a whole team and usually there are two team. Your team and you get spawned in a small map. Within this map you are given a paintball gun you have to shoot the other team. It is ridiculously fun. These are just some of the reasons I love Minecraft.
