“The quality of life in America is dependent on the quality of the journalism. Most people don’t realize that, but if you think about it, journalism is one of the pillars on which our society is perched.”  Scott Pelley, news correspondent, 60 Minutes

Journalism is part of our free society. Teaching the young how to be objective journalists who report the facts, tell compelling stories and seek the truth is the basis of Riverside Reporters.

Boys and girls on the Reporters staff will learn the art and discipline of journalism through imaginative and inspiring experiences.  Under the guidance of a Master Tutor they will work together to publish both print and online editions of the Riverside newspaper.
