Scotland’s Independence Vote Outcome

By October 2, 2014
Scotland-On Sep 18, 2014, all the Scots age sixteen and older in Northern Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland voted on one thing: should Scotland break away from the UK and become its own country?  The yes campaign and the no campaign both did well, and, as for British Prime Minister David Cameron, he was hoping that Scotland would stay a part of the UK. The final count was 2,001,926 (55.3%) nos, against 1,617,989 (44.7%) yeses, which means that Scotland will remain a part of the United Kingdom.
